This is a TRS-80 site, but many of the books are generic basic, that
can easily be ported to the Apple II.

Click on books on the left. I especially liked "119 Practical Programs
for the TRS-80", and the multivolume set called "Basic Software
Library". But there's a ton of good stuff there.
The Wayne Green Encyclopedias are also of great value since they cover
a wide range of subjects - all with Basic source code.
There's a throttle mechanism that makes you pause between downloads if
you try to get a lot of files, but I guess that's understandable.
Bandwidth can be expensive when you host ebooks.
I liked his content so much I even contributed to his site.
