The Red Pirate
Central Ohio based, my claim to fame was a set of text based world maps to Ultima IV.
I was well established in the distribution chain and got the game a month before
release, knocking out a complete set of text-files (4 80-col files) that mapped
out the whole world, as well as sequences for the moon gates etc... I put them up
into the top of the channel about the same time the game was released for sale.
There was nothing like the feeling of seeing my files already on sites as I logged in
to upload them myself. :)
I also ran out and bought the final release so I could have all the goodies in
the box.
Years later I put those files and several other text files (mostlly maps) on a homepage
on the web: http://www.kitchencloset.com/home/bryan/projects.html
...scroll down to the bottom for links.
