That's why I didn't follow along and get involved with Macs after the
Apple II days. The PC was far more open, especially after Peter Norton
wrote books on the low-level calls to MS-DOS.
Similarly to what Ronald Reagan said about the Democratic party, "I
didn't leave Apple; Apple left me".
