DO. I might have to bootstrap Shrinkit and send the disk images in that form. What I'm running is "/sbin/getty" that comes with Ubuntu. The two terminal emulators I have are something that runs on DOS 3.3 (I think it does xmodem), and Apple Access II 1.2.

I was just doing this last week on my TI-Linux hookup, and I wanted to
use minicom instead. So I had to kill agetty, but as it was setup to
restart... I removed it from the /etc/inittab file (had to restart my
pc), setup a command to start it IF I want to, so I can use minicom for
the transfers. Much nicer since I have a program on the TI that acts as
a minibbs.

# kill -HUP 1

You don't have to reboot to do that. xD
