In high school grade 11 (1976) , I took a data processing course..They
taught us how to program in some language called SIMON? (i think)... I
never did find out what kind of computer system it was but they had to
send our programs out to be processed. It took a week or two to get
your output back ...

In 1982 a friend introduced me to his Apple II+ clone - six months
later after looking at the real thing and the competition (trs80 and
others ) I ended up buying a Apple II+ clone as well (I still have it)
- I was so hooked - I took out a bank loan to buy it and never looked
back...
