Thanks for the suggestions.  The pick up roller seemed soft and spongy.
 I blew it out and got out the Q-tips and alcohol.  There are a few
small clicks when it tries to pick up a peace of paper.  It wouldn't
take a piece even when I held one for it.

This one is a goner.
