It still does.  For probably somewhere around 30 hours now, my Mac mini has
been copying its mirror of the Ground archive (which in turn had mirrors of
several others).  It's currently somewhere near 5.2 GB.

I've been thinking about putting it online someplace...more mirrors would be
a Good Thing.  Hosting and VPS services have gotten fairly cheap; the VPS
that hosts alfter.us costs me a whopping $15 per month. :-) I've also
grabbed a copy of the Asimov archive, which is another 872 GB.  I might give
some consideration to making copies for others--send me some DVD-Rs and
return postage, wait a bit, get your DVD-Rs back with the archives on them.
