:
: Well, it doesn't seem to work.
:
: I have ProDOS 8 on the first partition. I installed GS/OS 6.01 on the
: third partition. I've renamed the PRODOS file from GSOS to PRODOS.GSOS
: as directed.
:
: No matter how I execute PRODOS.GSOS (launcher, basic program, direct
: command from the basic prompt), I always get the error:
:
: Unable to load START.GS.OS file. Error=$0046
:
: with the Apple zooming back and forth.
:
: I'd love to have GS/OS 6 on the third parititon, and GS/OS 5 on the
: second partition, and ProDOS 8 on the first, if for no other reason
: that I could put the CFFA in the //e and use all the ProDOS 8 programs
: on the first partition there...
:
: Any more thoughts?

First off, Install GS/OS 6 on partition 1. Everything, and I mean nearly
everything except DOS 3.3 stuff will run under it. It has it's own BASIC
interpreter right there. Now, if you want to run something strictly ProDOS,
simply put it in a folder, and run it from it's own folder and it will use
it's own ProDOS that exists in that folder. Please folks, stop trying to
hack stuff that definitely doesn't need to be hacked.
Also, if you have the DOS 3.3 FST installed, you can even run those from
under GS/OS 6. If you have further problems, let me know, and I'll attempt
to repeat your issue, and find you a solution post-haste.
