This being an unmoderated newsgroup is no excuse for flame baiting. That we should expect it or even tolerate it is a fallacy. Civility is the cornerstone of an enlightened, respectable society.
It's easy enough to have a candid discussion, even a difference of opinion without having to resort to infantile name calling, swearing or colorful metaphors.
To do otherwise is infantile.
