Hey Gord. Long time no see.

First thing, there is a syntax error in line 10. You need to supply a
number for the PDL function. ;-)

If you feel up to working on a bit of a hardware project you'll find a
generic PC joystick will work on an Apple if you have the correct
connector. At least the specs are the same (150K pots as well as buttons).
I can let you look at my manuals when you got some free time. It may take
a while to find. I'll show you some good anime while I go and look. It'll
just be a matter of which line is equivalent to the other. There are a
whole bunch of ground wires on the PC side where as I think the Apple has
one or two.

Off topic... The MWCS is meeting tonight at 8:00 at the Timmies in front
of Future Shop on Regent. I mention this because they have a machine
(finally) running Ubuntu. Would you be interested in giving a demo of WINE
sometime this year? You can give me a call before 7:30 if it sounds like
it's something you'd like to do. Better yet, you can drop by the meeting.
