You've made an incorrect assumption. The manuals aren't photocopied, but are printed to a laser printer from the master document. Some are PDF files, others are in different formats. All manuals appear in their original condition as they were transferred to Syndicomm from The Byte Works. Sheppy would never cheap out and just provide photocopies.
