I've been an Apple II fan since I recieved my first IIe for Christmas
in 1986 (replacing my dear old Atari 400). I still have and use that
very Apple II which will be turning 20 this year, and it still looks
and runs like new. Of course now it has many more enhancements than I
ever thought possible back then...
Lately I've been looking up old Apple II user groups, and I was
surprised to see just how many there used to be in Michigan. I never
had a modem back then, so I was never able to hook up with any groups
other than some people who hung out at the local software stores
discussing the latest games (remember those days?).
I was curious if any Michgan area Apple users still meet or get
together on occasion. I'd like to meet some of my fellow Michigan
Apple II users.
