Howdy, folks:
A friend of mine just gave me his old //c (version 3) and assorted
other things, so it's been a nice long nostalgic weekend. After doing
some research, I discovered a few things for the //c that I'd love to
find.
1. A memory expansion card; 128k is so limiting to me.
2. A clock chip, for use with AppleWorks.
3. I've heard that Applied Engineering made a Z80 board or two for the
//c. I've heard of one named the 'Z80c', and I've also heard of one
called the 'Z-RAM Ultra III'. (Does the latter have the Z80 chip as
well? As I've been wanting to play with CP/M recently, and I don't
feel like getting a whole 'new' computer for it, is there any place to
find these cards?
4. A MockingBoard D, to use with the Ultimas and other games.
If there's any other fun toys I'm leaving out (accelerators, floppy
port hard drives, whatever), it doesn't mean I'm not interested! ;)
I suppose this topic could also be used for you all to tell me what
else I should do with the //c, other than AppleWorks and gaming. Well,
and Mr. Mahon's Sudoku program; way to be an enable for my addiction,
sir. ;)
Thanks, everyone.
