The Unidisk 3.5 that goes with it will go for $30 - $50
usually. So for around $70 this is still the cheapest way to connect a
3.5" disk drive to an Apple ][/][ plus or //e.
Speaking of Unidisk3.5, here is one on eBay with a BIN of $29.99.

Are you sure that is a UniDisk 3.5? The model number is given as
A9M0106 which matches the photo in eBay auction # 27000316424 of an
Apple 3.5 drive. What you need for an Apple IIc or a Liron card is
A2M2053 (according to the Apple 2 FAQ).

Also according to this website: http://www.mandrake.demon.co.uk/Apple/drives.html That auction says that the photo is of a "similar unit", so I think we're definitely talking about an Apple 3.5", not a Unidisk 3.5".
