While an accelerator is always a nice thing to have, System 6 doesn't
really require it - the most important system boosting enhancements you
can add to a GS are in this order:

1. RAM
2. More RAM
3. A decent fast hard drive or CF drive
4. Accelerator

If you're not going to interface a CD drive to the GS, then don't
bother paying the premium for a SCSI card. Get a MicroDrive or CFFA. If
done shrewdly, you can buy a 4MB RAM card and a CFFA for roughly $150.
