Re: IIgs RGB to YPbPr Component experiment

So more photos.. this time using a lesser Samsung LCDTV -- the
LTP-1745. The pixel density is higher as its resolution is still
1280x1024 like the 192MP, but the screen is 17" diagonal instead of
19". This difference seems to have quite an effect. However, I
would be hesistant to recommend this monitor for the IIgs.. I'm getting
artifacts here whereas I was not with the 192MP.

The 192MP upconverter handles 480i/p, 720p, 1080i.. whereas the LTP1745
is EDTV only (480i/p). The upcoverter does not seem as good quality,
and you can see the flaws in the following photos.

=================

IIgs Program Launcher - SHGR 640x200 -- notice very different
background pattern from previous monitor.

IIgs Sys Utils w/ borders -- notice slightly better text at this higher
pix density. However, visible at bottom is a lighter bar, and various
scan artifacts.

Teenage Queen(?) - SHGR 320x200(?) -- looks fantastic.

Karateka - HGR(?) -- thank goodness the solid sky is back.

Strip Poker - HGR -- what a lame game. If you get a woody, get a
girlfriend.

Super Paint - SHGR 320x200 mode. Beautiful color.

Marble Madness - 320x200(?) -- perfect rendering again.
