And what about the latest II-non-plus?
The late-models ]['s were sold in parallel with ][+'s, using
the same late-model main boards. The only difference was the
set of ROMs plugged in and the label on the top.
When I bought my first II at the end of 1980, from Computerland,
I was offered the choice of a ][ or a ][+ for the same price.
Choosing built-in floating-point was a no-brainer.
The 16KB model was $1199, with about $150 added for each additional
16KB. I chose a 16KB model and added another 32KB myself a week later
for about $55. ;-)
