That's true.
In the long and hard life of this poor Apple, I don't believe the
cassette interface has ever been used.
However, I did have one tiny experiment planned for it. I was going to
see if it could in/output to my MiniDisc recorder reliably, especially
in 4x longplay mode. I don't know how it would fare with the ATRAC
compression, but it can't hurt to try.

Still have to go through my components to find out if I have the right
parts on-hand. I can't wait to have my //e Platinum up and running
again.

I apologise if this is/was posted more than once. I'm having some
dialup issues.
