Let's pay a developer to make a VGA output card

I keep wishing Michael Mahon would stop development of his AppleCrate 
project (interesting as it is) and solve this problem!  It seems like 
every time someone posts a message about some scan doubler that they are 
experimenting with, Michael (hi Mike!) jumps in with a pile of frequency 
analysis / technical comments.  It makes me think he is probably the 
only guy (aside from Ed) who could really do it.

Maybe we should start a pot.  Who else would pledge $100 to pay someone 
solve this problem (i.e. SecondSight but better performance, not a scan 
doubler box from Taiwan)?  Maybe if we can get the pot up to a couple 
thousand dollars, we'd get a good solution from Ed or Michael!
