It's a ][ plus. So slot 3 is full function.

Yes. That's how I know that the SSC is the only problem. It looks like the card is recognized as a console device of some sort but the code doesn't know how to properly use it.

I have read in some FAQ that version 2.3 of CPM works better with Apple periferals, but I apparently have 2.2 and didn't find any 2.3 images on the net.
