Yeah, how true! I've noticed that most Apple II auctions if you start the
price at $1, it will go to the price you want. If you ask $600, or some
large number, up front you'll never get it. Of course I've seen TransWarps
go for $9 when someone listed them for $1, so I guess that's the risk you
take although easily resolved by using the Reserve Price option.
With all the talk lately about VGA cards for the Apple II's around here,
someone might be thinking the time is right to 'dump'. Normally the first
of an item listed will fetch crazy money, then the rest of us will bid what
it's really worth.
Oh well... back to work for me.
