Ok, so I'm trying to get Apple II+, ADT, Super Serial Card (SSC) and my
IBM laptop running hyperterm (or mac 2400c with zterm) all working
happily together. I have read the many threads on the forums about
jumper seting etc, and none of it is any help thus far.
My first question is :
When trying to do a direct connect to the PC laptop running hyperterm,
using IN#2 (where 2 is the slot where my SSC resides), I get the
following:
C220 - A=A0 X=00 Y=A0 P=B4 S=C9
(Beep Sound)
C214 - A=A0 X=00 Y=00 P=36 S=c3
(Beep Sound)
C21C ...
etc...
(stops somewhere after 3 to 15 lines...seems quite random)
Now I've never done this before but I would expect that if all the
settings are consistent (Parity off, Baud rate the same etc) then what
ever I type into hyperterm should appear on the Apple II screen.
Doing a PR#2 does absolutely nothing. Screen goes blank...nothing else
happens.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again
cheers
Phil
