If you call your broker and request that a certificate be issued, you
will receive a physical share certificate. Of course, there will only
be one certificate, regardless of the number of shares it represents
(which is imprinted on it).
If Apple has recently changed the format of their certificates, then
the older certificates may become more valuable as collector's items.
There is some very interesting art on many company's share certificates.
