Would a patch to BASIC.SYSTEM to extend the CATALOG command past the
built in table of 14 file types be of any interest? There are only a
few (5?) versions of BASIC.SYSTEM to worry about. Of course if you want
to decode all 256 types it will cost you 768 bytes just for the lookup
table.
