Maybe you could clarify.. What exactly are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to make a video card out of the FPGA, or a disk controller, or a whole Apple system? Any of the above should be doable. Has been done already with the Amiga 500, Commodore 64, Commodore Vic-20, and others.
