Just a heads up if you do decide to try your own ATX Power Supply mod.

If a supply is missing the -5v line, it is easy to add one by using a
linear regulator (7905) to regulate the -12v down.  The actual current
drain on the -5v supply is almost negligible, so this is an easy mod.

It could easily be placed inside the power supply.
