I would start with the 4mb ram card. The card uses no buffers or
address line drivers (which would be fine if the card contained fewer
chips) but not necessarily ok if it contains 32 individual rams. Maybe
knock the card down to 1mb (if thats a possibility) so you're only
dealing with 8 rams on one simm. If thats not an option try to verify
with Apple's 1mb.
The problem could also just be a damaged Ram on the card. A utility
like Bit Banger would help you verify this.
