Ok well your first message came off like AppleWin didn't support hard drive 
images and it does now. I've opened .HDV files in Ciderpress and added 
files that load in AppleWin just fine but I don't really use Ciderpress 
much or have a CF card. Perhaps you can create a blank .HDV file and copy 
the contents of the CF image to it. 

There is also another tool called AppleCommander that is quite good at file 
manipulation but not sure it supports the CF image.
