The half-sized 80-column card is typical for "later" machines -
Basically, 3 chips, on a card *JUST* long enough to fill the slot, and a
chip-length tall. As for the smaller "on the motherboard" chip-count,
yes, the larger capacity RAM chips mean there's no need for 8 of them
when 2 will do the job.
Never even heard of a 6503 chip before. Definitely an odd-sounding
critter.
