They are just wires to TTL inputs (without those nasty 0.1uF RFI
capacitors on the Platinum edition), so they are as good as any
IOU input--much less than one microsecond.

Practically, they cannot be sensed faster than once every 4 cycles,
so that's the real bandwidth limiter.
