Hey everyone! My name is Tommy Thomas. I'm 24 and live in South
Carolina. I've been a fan of Apple's since 1987 when I was 5 years old.
The first computer I ever used was an Apple IIe Platinum in 1987. I
used them from 1987-1993 in Elementary School. I've been wanting to
return to the Apple II world for quite sometime.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this. But I was
wondering if anyone here had a IIe or IIgs they'd part with? I'd be
willing to trade 2 Mac CD's that a friend of mine burned a few years
ago. It has a lot of OLD Mac apps, games, system software and updates
for the system software. That's all I have to offer mainly due to
financial problems. My Dad, last year, was diagnosed with prostate and
bladder cancer. He went through a lot of radiation treatments. The
doctors have given him a good prognosis. During all that, I've been
helping pay for his medical bills. Medicare has paid pretty well, but
I've been helping pay what I can. I wouldn't have the money to pay for
a II or even the shipping. That's why I'm offering the CD's. That's all
I have to offer. :-(
Please reply here or shoot me an email to classicmac500@cs.com. I'd
appreciate anything that could be done. I'd love nothing better to be
back in the Apple II world. :-)
Thanks,
Tommy
