------------
Jobs spent only about five minutes talking about what I see as the big
news of the day: Apple's first software for using a home network
through a television screen rather than a computer monitor. This goes
right to the core of what the digital living room is all about.
----------
I had an Apple II+ hooked up to my TV in the living room back in 1981,
25 years ago. What comes around goes around I guess. Maybe Jobs
forgot and had a sudden epiphany. Although I didn't need any stinkin
software to make it happen back then.
Of couse then there were things like the Video Overlay card and the AST
Vision Plus that did really cool things with your TV and an Apple II,
but alas, that was only 15 years ago.
