Not sure. Specifying a Drive device target instead of a Volume Name target
may be confusing things. GS-ShrinkIt seems to be assuming (incorrectly) that it
is ready to start writing to the target because the target is taken to be
whatever is in 3.5" Drive 1 at the time it checks prior to writing..
You might try write-protecting the GSUTILS (or DATA) disk before inserting
when asked prior to writing. Maybe you will get a message telling you the
target is write-protected and have a chance to swap in your target disk and the
stuff will be written.
An alternative try is using a formatted and named target disk. (You tell
GS-ShrinkIt the target's name instead of just specifying the drive.)
More generally, trying to run GS System with GS utils (especially a util
like GS-ShrinkIt) with only one 800k drive is pretty much a chore.
Getting 4MB of RAM would allow lots more flexibility-- like you could set
up an 800k RAM Disk. Or you could use FlashBoot to preload System 6.0.1 onto a
larger RAM disk and run from there-- it's a lot like having a hard disk.
