Just because it is a smaller target doesn't mean that it isn't less
secure. Apache is the most popular webserver, which makes it a very
large target, but it has had less security problems than Microsoft's
Internet Information Server.
Technically, OS X does do some things to make it more secure, such
as not allowing any system changes without an administrator
password and shipping with no ports listening by default.
What does this have to do with the Apple II? :-)
