Apple backplane attachable connectors?

Hello,

I'd like to connect my wire-wrap clone Mockingboard to a backplane 
connector so I don't have to move around the monitor and open the 
machine every time I need to plug or unplug something.

Any good ideas on how to do this? I'd like to have an earphone style 
stero line-out socket back there, like a PC's line-out. Where do I get / 
how do I make something that fits the Apple's back plane but isn't Sub-D?
