Has anyone seen either of the following?:
A ROM 01 Motherboard with an UNSOCKETED VGC (soldered)
or
A ROM 03 Motherboard with a SOCKETED VGC?
Right now I'm assuming that due to the motherboard layout the ROM 01
was designed for a socket while the ROM 03 was designed for the VGC to
be directly soldered to the motherboard.
I have never seen a fully stripped GS motherboard so its possible (but
unlikely) that one of the 2 revision PCB layouts is set up for both.
Thanks.
