Re: SWIM Chip replacement for PCTransporter



Hello Randall.

I do have a few of the SWIM's in you need one.  My next question - Is your 
IC in a socket or surface mounted?  If it's mounted you could send me the 
board I could replace the IC for you assuming you don't have SMT tools.

Lastly - How do you know the SWIM is at fault for sure?  I guess if you swap 
it out for a known good one and it works, you'll know for sure.

I'm also not too sure about the PCT SWIM IC info.  Anyone know for sure? 
Same IC?  If it is then maybe I can find more sources for the SWIM.  Thanks.
