     Sounds like the imaging software assigned the $E0 filetype to the image.
That shouldn't matter. Once the image is transferred to PC it loses any ProDOS
filetype.

     You might try ASIMOV. It's very good for making .dsk images of non
copy-protected software. The 1.6 version is more convenient for that; v2.0
offers more options. DSK2FILE is good, too.
