Your easiest bet would be to fabricate a new cable.
You're looking for 32k x 8 SRAM chips. I've had good luck with Samsung
+ anything from Japan. Bad luck with Winbond. You wont find any wide
(600 mil) SRAMs that are fast enough. (There were some 45ns Sony's
floating around years ago, but they're LONG gone) Besides you'll be
a lot happier with 20ns and faster 300 mil components anyways. You'll
want machine pin sockets for simplicity sake.
I used to get SRAM from Microprocessors Unlimited - telephone (918)
267-4961, get a catalog. I don't know if they're still around.
