Replacing the ROM 01 IIgs battery

Why are people afraid to solder the battery to the board? In the old days, 
when the IIgs CPU was expensive, then worrying was justified. But _today,_ 
when the main unit costs justr ten bucks at a thrift shop, there is alm 
ost no risk of financial loss, even with a crew-up!  Steve Buggie
