It looks like what happened is that nortonjacobs bid something more than 
$2,025. However, the opening bid was $750.  So then broeswa came along and 
bid it up to $2,000 and gave up.  This increased nortonjacobs bid 
automatically and would have continued increasing his bid all the way until 
his maximum bid was reached.
