it's funny you mentioned that because it's sort of what I had in mind:
as the output of the Mockingboard can drive my 2 portable 8Ohm speakers
without pre-amps pretty well (driven by 2 LM386, one per channel, 125mW at
8Ohm 1KHz is enough!) and I have another small internal type speaker which
appears identical (from an old PC case I think), I thought of fitting it on
the right hand side of my Apple to render a "stereo" type sound. Well, it's
not as "full" as the sound of my external 3" passive speakers it is driving
now, but it would be tidier! Just check that the small speaker you hook on
is 8 Ohms.
