Yes and no.  I'm not sure it's possible to reliably & automatically
detect Merlin source code.  It's easy enough to write a reformatter, but
you might have to select it manually from the drop-down list, and it
would show up as an option on other text files.

IIRC, it *might* be possible to detect some versions because of the weird
way that spaces are handled.

Yes, the "tab" spaces have their high bits set, and regular spaces
do not.

But it would be fine to simply have it as an explicit choice..or maybe
to be able to "associate" it with .s text files.  ;-)

Although filename suffixes were not the standard way of typing Apple
II files, many programs effectively used that convention.
