Well, I can't say much about the disassembly instructions for a DuoDisk
Drive or the cables, but I CAN say that it is designed to support the
weight of a monitor on top of it.

The //e case is EXTREMELY strong, and can support a lot of weight. The
DuoDisk drive unit is built like a cinder block, and can support a lot
of weight.
