I would like a Vintage Mac to go along with the Apple IIe's. I don't
have any plans on networking them at the moment. I would also like to
have an Apple III but I think one of those will be hard to come by. I
have a growing collection of IBM Typewriters, Apples, and a IBM PS/2
Model 60, and a IBM PCjr.

The oldest actually usable Mac (as opposed to "cool curiosity, but useless in practice") is generally thought to be the Mac Plus. Disadvantage: No ADB support, thus keyboards and mice are somewhat hard to get. Advantage: It works well even without a hard disk.

A good one to get seems to be the Classic II if you don't need color.

(I got this info from http://www.lowendmac.com as I don't own a Mac myself. You might want to look over that site.)
