Re: IIGS mass storage ideas

You want one of two cards:

1. The CFFA, located at:
http://dreher.net/?s=projects/CFforAppleII&c=projects/CFforAppleII/main.php
Orders are being taken now, and they'll probably be filled by February.

2. The MicroDrive IDE Controller from http://www.gse-reactive.com/.
(Their site seems down this instant.)

Both are priced about the same: around $100, give or take.

Both of these cards work with ProDOS 8 and GSOS. They let you use a
Compact Flash card as Apple II hard drives of up to 32 MB each. They
are fast and don't have moving parts, plus you can pop out the CF cards
and back them up to a PC or MAC. You can read and write to them with a
PC using "CiderPress," which is amazing $10 shareware.

Hope this helps,
Warr
