Another thought.  Which Apple SCSI card did you try?  If you have the
High Speed or Rec C variety, it may be beneficial to do the
termination power mod if it's not been done already.  Info on the mod

I know there are several regulars around here would would likely be
willing to do the mod for you for nominal fee, if you're uncomfortable
with a soldering iron.
