Some facts you've never wanted to know about the Apple II; the following
values are, to the best of my math knowledge, exact; or would be if
quartz tolerances were zero and if TV sets were built absolutely
according to the Norm, which of course they aren't:
Clock Speed, NTSC = 213281250/209 Hz
Hires Pixel Aspect Ratio, NTSC = 28512/33173
Pixels are considerably higher than wide
Clock Speed, PAL, w/14.25 MHz main quartz = 1015625 Hz
Hires Pixel Aspect Ratio, PAL, w/14.25 MHz quartz = 256/247
Pixels are a little wider than high
