Re: new internal hd option for apple lisa and apple iii cf/ide

I was NOT refering to the owner when I said there was a high
investment. I was refering to the man who invented the card. He has
has invested a large sum of money to see this project come to its
fruition. The fact that someone has been able to even create this card
at all is a miracle in itself given that the technology we are talking
about is not only archaic but also known to be extemely problematic.
(especially the twiggies).

I think Vince's point about you cant compare this card to the CFFA or
any other card because none of them work in the LISA 1 or 2.

But keep in mind too, people who are buying Lisa's today are paying
$600-1200 for the Lisa 2 and much more for the Lisa 1. An Apple IIe
goes for less than $50 and is much easier to build new hardware for.
