You know, I never thought to try using an older kernel. I tried using newer
kernels, but never thought to go the other way. Everytime I tried to bring
the card up, I get kernel panic.

I have a fastpath 5 lying around that I haven't been able to quite figure
out yet. I got all the software/firmware but haven't been able to figure out
how to integrate it into my existing network to do MacIP for my IIgs, etc.
I'm used to DHCP plug-it-in-and-it-works networking.
